Swift Temps Coventry - are looking for a press brake operator to join a client in Banbury on Permanent basis please apply if you have the relevant experience which you will need to do this job role.
Main DutiesProgramme bend series into machines and adjust to achieve optimum results.
Adjust and load tools as required to achieve correct pressings in the production of product.
Working to fine tolerances.
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Maintain and ensure equipment is safe, clean and in good working order, reporting any faults that may arise.
Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy, adhering to Health and Safety procedures and policies at all times.
Assist with any other general operative tasks as required in line with business needs and within your skill set and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications
knowledge and experience of using Amada or similar machines is essential to this role.
Possess a good understanding of engineering drawings.
Have worked with Stainless steel material.
Be able to work within a team or on your own initiative.
Possess a can do attitude.
Pay attention to detail and quality.

- Ensure that all work produced is of a high quality standard and adheres to any quality or Company standards that are in place and or as directed by your immediate Line Manager.

Ensure that Health & Safety Standards are maintained at all times including:
- Follow safe working practices
- Keep areas of work clean and tidy
- Ensure that equipment is maintained and any defects are reported.
- If issued/required, use safety equipment (PPE) and uniform provided correctly and for its intended purpose. It is imperative that your personal work wear is kept clean and presentable whilst conducting Company business.

- Develop your knowledge of Company products and services
- Ensure training is received prior to undertaking any new task or use of Company equipment.
- Ensure regular reviews are held with your Line Manager.
